Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of efficiency in supplying marine supplies and the factors that influence it on Bagan Perahu fishing boats at the Regional II PPI Air Bangis Fisheries Port UPTD, West Sumatra Province. The research was conducted from June 16 to July 9, 2025, using a survey method through direct observation and interviews, with time-based measurements using time studies. Data analysis was performed through efficiency calculations and statistical tests, including normality tests, linear regression, F-tests, multicollinearity tests, and multiple regression. The results of the study indicate that the efficiency level of supply loading is still relatively low, with an average efficiency of 69.68% for ice loading, 64.05% for fuel loading, and 64.62% for clean water loading. This low efficiency is mainly due to the amount of time wasted during the refueling process, such as queues, labor delays, and the process of obtaining supplies, most of which come from outside the port area. The regression test results show that the variables of the amount of supplies and the number of workers do not have a significant effect on wasted time, so the main factors contributing to low efficiency are managerial aspects and workflows in the field. Thus, increasing the efficiency of supply filling requires the restructuring of operational mechanisms, acceleration of services, and the provision of adequate supporting facilities at the port
